Hence, you’d need to use your finger or stylus to navigate the device. In case, the screen size of pocket PC is small then the device may be inconvenient to use. Unlike pocket PCs, Smartphones come with non touch screen feature. Smartphones work on one hand navigation which is preferred by users who want to get rid of navigation and pull up menu quickly. If you talk about applications, in a pocket PC you’ll see a different design of third party applications than a Smartphone. The basic difference arises because of presence of touch screen in pocket PC. It is very tough to say which one is better. However, Smartphone application needs more modular navigation than touch screen based program. |

| If you’re switching from pocket PC to Smartphone, you’d need to check if your favorite applications are working on other device because in most cases application will not work on both devices. T9 input is used for typing in Smartphones as almost all of them don’t feature a keyboard. Now, choice is yours, if you want to navigate menus with hand or by touching the icons. |
