Windows Mobile work on same principle as that of Windows on desktop however, in Palm Operating System multi tasking is quite impossible. Palm OS works on switching system but in real sense one application pauses while other remain active. Therefore, you can browse through only one application at a time.

One of the major advantages of Palm over windows mobile is that most of the IT departments support Palm as it is present from quite a long time and techies using it before windows. Bottom-line is both PDA and Palmtop has their own specialties and drawbacks. Therefore, you can choose the OS as per your need.
